Vision for My Country

Libya stands at a turning point. Oil and gas remain the backbone of the economy, but how we manage this sector will decide whether the country can build a future that is both prosperous and fair.

I believe Libya’s greatest strength lies in its people. Our youth are resilient, talented, and eager to contribute. With the right investment in education and skills, they can drive innovation and lead the economy into a new era.

The energy sector should serve as the engine of national renewal. Transparent management of oil revenues can fund infrastructure, diversify the economy, and create jobs that last. Investment in ports, logistics, and industry can position cities such as Tripoli, Misrata, and Benghazi as regional hubs for trade.

Libya also has the potential to lead in renewable energy. With some of the best solar conditions in the world, the country can combine modernized natural gas facilities with large-scale solar projects. This mix would strengthen domestic energy security and make Libya a reliable partner for Europe.

The future depends on professionalism, transparency, and inclusion. If Libya’s natural wealth is managed wisely, it will not only sustain the economy but also help build a country respected for fairness, stability, and openness to the world.

This is my hope for Libya: that our resources serve our people, that our youth shape the future, and that our country earns respect through fairness, stability, and openness to the world.
